OD2A INITIATIVE
The Opioid Data to Action (OD2A) initiative promotes a trauma-informed approach to reducing opioid addictions and illegal opioid use in the community.
Clay County was blessed to earn the Opioid Data to Action Grant in 2020. This funding has allowed our community to use our trauma-informed lens to promote programs that will lead toward safer and more resilient community. Some new initiatives include:
ACES Awareness Speakers Bureau - Sign your business, organization, church group, or club up to take part in a free training about childhood trauma.
IRIS - Integrated Referral and Intake System is a web-based, bi-directional referral communication tool used to help organizations connect the individuals and families they serve to the right resources in their community.
Drug Court - Drug courts are specialized court docket programs that target criminal defendants and offenders, juvenile offenders, and parents with pending child welfare cases who have alcohol and other drug dependency problems.
